Mesothreads

Mesothreads are innovative, non surgical method for skin lifting and revitalization. They are indicated for mild to moderate skin relaxation. Insertion of a thin fully degradable polydioxanone (PDO polydioxanone) thread under the skin boosts new collagen by activation of skin cells (fibroblasts) and acceleration of blood supply into treated skin. The results- lifting of sagging tissues, smoothing fine lines, contouring. The threads degrade completely within 6-8 months forming a network-scaffold of new collagen, elastin fibers during absorbtion. Full threads effect persists 2 years.

Procedure:

Mesothreads are suitable for patients aged 35 to 60 years. The application takes 30 to 60 minutes. The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthesia in atraumatic needle punch. 3 days before/after application aspirin or anticoagulants (blood thinners) intake is discouraged. Single antibiotic administration following procedure is recommended. Expect bruises, haematomas, so herbal ointments are necessary for treat them. Do not squeeze treated areas, do not touch severely (makeup removal) inserted threads. Power sports, abrupt movements are not recommended in the first week following manipulation. Aftercare cosmetics, makeup is usual. The procedure cannot be undergone by patients suffering blood clotting disorders, people prone to formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars , pregnant and breastfeeding women, infected skin, skin injury, malignancy.

Mesothreads are not surgical lifting. This method is excellent alternative to people who are afraid of surgery, or they are not surgery candidates. Mild to moderate skin sagging is reasonable for mesothreads. Ask your dermatologist for body mesothreads sculpting.
